Refreshed Red Bulls to Edge out Eintracht in Bundesliga

September 22, 2017

Leipzig are good value to beat Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this weekend.

Leipzig’s squad has had 24 hours more to recover from its midweek exertions than Frankfurt’s roster and that is one reason why the Red Bulls are worth backing to beat Eintracht at home.

One day after a much changed Leipzig team was defeated 0-1 at Augsburg in the fifth round of the German Bundesliga, Frankfurt triumphed 1-0 at cellar dweller Koln. Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl is likely to rotate the Red Bulls again, with star attacker Emil Forsberg expected to return on the left wing. Frankfurt boss Niko Kovac is forecast to adopt a more conservative strategy against Leipzig than versus Koln, including switching to a back three.

Leipzig and Frankfurt are level on seven German Bundesliga points but, according to one’s collateral form analysis, the Red Bulls hold a 2-0-1 edge over Eintracht. That is because Leipzig has outperformed Frankfurt in German Bundesliga action against Freiburg and Augsburg, while the opposite is true about matches featuring the Red Bulls and Eintracht versus Monchengladbach. Last season’s corresponding German Bundesliga fixture ended 3-0 in favour of Leipzig and the Red Bulls led 2-0 in Frankfurt before Eintracht scored twice in the 83rd minute or later to snatch a 2-2 home draw. Leipzig are backed at at odds of 1.73Bet €100 to win €17373/100Bet £100 to win £173-137Bet $100 to win $1730.73Bet HK$100 to win HK$173-1.37Bet Rp100 to win Rp1730.7300Bet RM100 to win RM173  with BetVictor and Marathonbet.

One thought that Augsburg would pose problems for Leipzig on Tuesday and one thinks that the Fuggerstadter are likely to extend their recent run of excellent German Bundesliga results by drawing at Stuttgart on Saturday.

Augsburg has strung together three German Bundesliga wins on the spin to climb to fifth on the ladder and, according to one’s collateral form analysis, the Fuggerstadter enjoy a 1-0-0 lead over Stuttgart due the respective results of the sides against Monchengladbach. Stuttgart has won each of its two German Bundesliga home games – it has beaten Mainz and Wolfsburg – so one is not willing to back Augsburg to snare all three points even though the Fuggerstadter have won seven successive matches versus the Reds. Marathonbet is quoting odds of 3.64Bet €100 to win €36466/25Bet £100 to win £364+264Bet $100 to win $3642.64Bet HK$100 to win HK$3642.64Bet Rp100 to win Rp364-0.3788Bet RM100 to win RM364  about Stuttgart and Augsburg drawing and that strike one as the best way to wager on the game.

Another team that boasts a strong head-to-head record is Dortmund, which has won each of its last four games against Monchengladbach, including 4-1 at home and 3-2 on the road in last term’s German Bundesliga competition. Dortmund is the German Bundesliga’s form side and it is supportable at odds of 1.45Bet €100 to win €1459/20Bet £100 to win £145-222Bet $100 to win $1450.45Bet HK$100 to win HK$145-2.22Bet Rp100 to win Rp1450.4500Bet RM100 to win RM145  with Marathonbet to post a win on Saturday.

Yet to concede a German Bundesliga goal, Dortmund is one point ahead of Bayern Munchen at the top of the ladder after five rounds, whereas Monchengladbach is seventh with a 2-2-1 ledger. According to one’s German Bundesliga collateral form analysis, Dortmund has a 1-0-0 edge over Monchengladbach by virtue of their respective results versus Koln – the Black and Yellows won 5-0 at home and the Foals won 1-0 in front of their own supporters so there is quite a contrast.
