Falcons, Lions, Steelers All To Win In Week Four Teaser

September 29, 2017

Week four of the 2017 NFL season kicked off with the Green Bay Packers easing past the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay moved to 3-1 in their campaign by brushing aside their NFC North rivals and the club appear to be on track to be one the leading contenders for the Conference crown.

The rest of the field enters back into the fray on Sunday and will be aiming to end the first month of the term on a high note.

We’ll now look at five teams that you should have in your teaser for this week’s action.

Buffalo Bills @ Atlanta Falcons

Ryan needs a bounce back week

The Bills had a solid victory over the Denver Broncos last week, but expect them to come crashing down to earth his week. For the second time this season the Falcons were saved on the goalline.

In week one the Bear were halted by their defense, while the Detroit Lions were cruelly denied by a controversial call in week three. Matt Ryan was far from his best at Ford Field, throwing three interceptions.

He should bounce back to form against the Bills, although Buffalo’s defense has been surprisingly effective this term. They were able to limit Trevor Siemian and the Broncos to notch their second win of the campaign.

However, the quality and the depth of the Falcons’ weapons should be too much for them to handle, especially on the road. Julio Jones has been held out of the endzone thus far this season, although he has strong performances.

Ryan will be doing his utmost to bring his primary weapon into the game. Both players are too good to be off colour two weeks on the bounce. Therefore back the Falcons to triumph at odds of 1.26Bet €100 to win €12613/50Bet £100 to win £126-385Bet $100 to win $1260.26Bet HK$100 to win HK$126-3.85Bet Rp100 to win Rp1260.2600Bet RM100 to win RM126  with TopBet sportsbook and put them in your teaser.

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings pulled off one of the surprises of week three by hammering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Without starting quarterback Sam Bradford, backup Case Keenum cut open the Bucs’ defense connecting with Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

Keenum was outstanding throwing for 369 yards and three touchdowns, leading his side to the victory. With Bradford expected to be sidelined once again he will start against the Lions. However, the quarterback is not renowned for his consistency and could take a step back this week.

Detroit were able to force three interceptions of Ryan last week in their heartbreaking defeat to the Falcons. A similar playmaking performance against the Vikings could be enough to drive them over the line.

Matt Stafford has made a strong start to the season, although he was not quite at his best last week. He still managed to engineer his side into position for the win. However, the cruelly denied when Golden Tate was deemed short of the line and the officials ended the contest with a 10-second runoff.

The Lions will have been angered by their controversial defeat. Expect them to bounce back on the road, capitalising on a couple of mistakes by Keenum. Take their odds of 2.15Bet €100 to win €21523/20Bet £100 to win £215+115Bet $100 to win $2151.15Bet HK$100 to win HK$2151.15Bet Rp100 to win Rp215-0.8696Bet RM100 to win RM215  with Marathon Bet for a single and put in your teaser as well.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens put in a woeful display in their clash in the International series against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They suffered one of their worst defeats in franchise history going down 44-7 at Wembley.

Head coach John Harbaugh appeared to put the blame on the travel across the Atlantic, stating that his side would not be keen for a return. However, he should be more concerned that his defense were cut open with ease by Blake Bortles.

He enjoyed a career game against what was expected to be one of the most dominant defensive units in the NFL. The Ravens have been hit by a number of injuries, but need to bounce back. They should stage a defensive improvement, but Joe Flacco has been poor in the early stages of the term.

Unless he can rise to the occasion against the Steelers – his side will lose again.

Pittsburgh were poor in their loss to the Chicago Bears. They always have one of those defeats in their term, losing to an inferior side. Ben Roethlisberger was not at his best, while the defense allowed Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard to run rampant.

Expect an improvement from Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, while Le’Veon Bell has to come to life sooner or later. Back the Steelers in your teaser and at odds of 1.61Bet €100 to win €16161/100Bet £100 to win £161-164Bet $100 to win $1610.61Bet HK$100 to win HK$161-1.64Bet Rp100 to win Rp1610.6100Bet RM100 to win RM161  with Bet365.

Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans

The Titans highlighted their potential last week with a brilliant win over the Seattle Seahawks. Marcus Mariota delivered the performance of his fledgling career to down Pete Carroll’s men. Tennessee ripped off several big plays in the contest to secure the victory by a comfortable margin.

Mike Mularkey’s men now have to take control of the AFC South. The Texans know them extremely well and will be desperate to haul themselves back in the division race. DeMarco Murray had a quiet start to the season before reeling off a 75-yard touchdown against the Seahawks.

The Titans will need to rely on him and Derrick Henry to ease the pressure on Mariota. Houston boast one of the most fearsome defensive lines in the game and will be keen to get the quarterback.

Bill O’Brien’s side came within seconds of defeating the New England Patriots last week. However, a Tom Brady comeback denied them the victory on the road. Deshaun Watson was outstanding in the game and flashed his potential.

The Texans will be hopeful that he can maintain that form, but whether he can go score-for-score with a rampant divisional opponent remains to be seen. Take the Titans on the road in your teaser and on a single bet at 1.80Bet €100 to win €1804/5Bet £100 to win £180-125Bet $100 to win $1800.80Bet HK$100 to win HK$180-1.25Bet Rp100 to win Rp1800.8000Bet RM100 to win RM180  with bwin.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Chargers

The Eagles fended off a comeback from the New York Giants to claim their second win of the term. Jake Elliott kicked a club record 61-yard field goal to win the match in the dying seconds. Philadelphia are well in the mix in the NFC East and now have two division wins under their belts.

Doug Pederson’s men travel across the country to face the Chargers, who have another poor start to the term. Injuries are beginning to become a factor for the Eagles as they lost running back Darren Sproles for the campaign with a torn ACL.

Carson Wentz has propped up his side, while he received support from the running game last week to drive Philadelphia over the line. The quarterback could be on course for another strong performance against the Chargers.

Los Angeles are a mess right now. Even quarterback Philip Rivers is making costly mistakes, throwing three interceptions in their loss to the Chiefs in week three. Their defense has been suspect and has now lost cornerback Jason Verrett for the term.

Wentz may be able to pick them apart and allow his defense to wait for the mistakes from Rivers to secure the win. Take the Eagles in your teaser and back them in a single at odds of 2.17Bet €100 to win €217117/100Bet £100 to win £217+117Bet $100 to win $2171.17Bet HK$100 to win HK$2171.17Bet Rp100 to win Rp217-0.8547Bet RM100 to win RM217  with BetOnline.
