Chargers, Bills, Ravens All To Win In NFL Regular Season Finale

December 28, 2017

The NFL enters the final week of the regular season and for 20 teams it’s the end of the road for the 2017 campaign.

Only three playoff places remain up for grabs as the elite of the league managed to secure their place in the post-season long before last week.

There still are a number of interesting matches, including the Cleveland Browns’ battle to avoid becoming the second team in NFL history to go 0-16.

We’ll now breakdown the four teams that you should have in your teaser.

Oakland Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers

Rivers needs to finish strongly

The Chargers need to win to have any hope of reaching the post-season. Los Angeles are in the seventh seed heading into the final match of the campaign. The situation could have been better for Anthony Lynn’s men had they beaten the Kansas City Chiefs in week 15. However, they produced a weak performance to lose out on the AFC West division crown.

They bounced back with a solid outing against the New York Jets last time out. The defense continued to dominate, limiting New York to seven points – with the unit well on course to finish in the top three in fewest points allowed. Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram have supplied pressure all season and that will be vital in this contest to defeat the Raiders.

Oakland imploded against the Philadelphia Eagles in their last outing. They had the chance to be spoliers for Doug Pederson’s men in their bid to secure the number one seed. However, they made crucial errors and allowed the Eagles to walk away with the victory. Changes could be coming at the franchise following the contest after an underwhelming term.

As a result, back the Chargers to ease to a comfortable win on home soil at odds of 1.27Bet €100 to win €12727/100Bet £100 to win £127-370Bet $100 to win $1270.27Bet HK$100 to win HK$127-3.70Bet Rp100 to win Rp1270.2700Bet RM100 to win RM127  with BetOnline.

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins

The Bills felt hard done by following their loss to the New England Patriots last week. Sean McDermott’s men had the opportunity to take a lead into the break at Gillette Stadium. Kelvin Benjamin appeared to score a touchdown, only for the NFL’s review system to controversially overturn the call.

Buffalo were destroyed in the fourth quarter by the Patriots, and now need a lot of results to go in their favour to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 term. Should the Baltimore Ravens lose their contest – it would open a path. Although a Ravens victory would leave the Bills needing both the Chargers and the Tennessee Titans to lose.

McDermott’s men still have to take care of business on the road. They defeated the Dolphins with ease in their clash on home soil, with LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor guiding them over the line. Miami do not have a great deal to play for and have shown signs of discontent in recent weeks. Buffalo will still need a strong performance to see off their rivals, who will be keen to spoil their attempted playoff push. McCoy and Taylor should inspire another victory at odds of 1.75Bet €100 to win €1753/4Bet £100 to win £175-133Bet $100 to win $1750.75Bet HK$100 to win HK$175-1.33Bet Rp100 to win Rp1750.7500Bet RM100 to win RM175  with BetOnline.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens

Collins can propel the Ravens into the playoffs

The Ravens know a victory will send them into the playoffs for the first time since the 2014 season. If John Harbaugh’s men all but secured their place in the post-season with their win over the Indianapolis Colts last week. The club have won five out of their last six matches and are ending the campaign at their peak form.

Joe Flacco and Alex Collins have been the driving force behind the surge as Baltimore’s offense has improved from their early-season displays. The defense has taken a step back, which will be a concern against a team with nothing to play for. Harbaugh’s men have left themselves exposed if they do lose to the Bengals due to their loss to the Titans.

Cincinnati have nothing to play for and will be determined to play spoiler for one of their bitter rivals. There is animosity between the AFC North teams and it would not be a surprise to see the Bengals play to the bitter end, forcing the Ravens to play quality football to beat them. Marvin Lewis’ 16-year tenure with the club will reportedly end after the contest. He and his players will want to end on a high note, but expect the Ravens to pull out all the stops to secure the win at odds of 6/25 with BetOnline.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks made one last effort to keep their post-season hopes alive. Seattle tormented Dak Prescott to secure a vital victory over the Dallas Cowboys on the road. Russell Wilson and company did just enough on offense with the aid of a pick-six from Justin Coleman to deliver a nine-point win. Pete Carroll’s men ended Dallas’ post-season hopes and now have to maintain their form for the final match of the campaign and hope that the Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons. Seattle have to defeat the Cardinals to advance and that has not always been straight forward.

Arizona edged out the Seahawks in their contest at CenturyLink Field last season. Their defense has the ability to cause Wilson problems, especially with NFL sack-leader Chandler Jones in their ranks. Bruce Arians’ men hammered the New York Giants last time out even with their plethora of offensive injuries. The Seahawks are without several key men on defense – therefore the battle for the win could well come down to who makes more plays in that matchup. Reports suggest that Arians will leave the Cardinals at the end of the season. His team will be determined to send him out with a famous win over their rivals.

Seattle delivered a narrow win on the road in the clash between the two sides earlier this term. That could be the case once again with Carroll’s men desperate for the result. Back the Seahawks at odds of 1.24Bet €100 to win €1246/25Bet £100 to win £124-417Bet $100 to win $1240.24Bet HK$100 to win HK$124-4.17Bet Rp100 to win Rp1240.2400Bet RM100 to win RM124  with BetOnline.
