Seahawks, Titans and Falcons All To Win NFL Week Six

October 13, 2018

Week six of the NFL season throws up some curious matchups in the round of games, handing opportunities for struggling teams to get back into contention in their campaign.

The Philadelphia Eagles already capitalised on playing the New York Giants, whose rough term continued with a 34-13 defeat on home soil.

There are plenty of other teams that will be looking to following the Eagles’ advantage. We’ll now breakdown the five sides that you should have in your teaser.

Will Wilson and Seattle triumph at Wembley

Seattle Seahawks @ Oakland Raiders

The Raiders are the home team, but the contest is the first match of the International Series at Wembley Stadium. Therefore the home-field advantage is nullified for Jon Gruden and company.  Oakland have been extremely poor this term, none more so than quarterback Derek Carr, who has struggled to find his form in Gruden’s offense. He has not been helped by the defense, with the decision to trade away former NFL defensive player of the year Khalil Mack looking more foolish by the week.

The Los Angeles Chargers eased to a comfortable win last time out, leaving the Raiders 1-4 heading to London. Seattle have found a semblance of form after a tough start to the season. Pete Carroll’s men went toe-to-toe with the Los Angeles Rams, suffering a narrow defeat at home soil. Russell Wilson put points on the board, but not quite enough to see off their NFC West rivals. Wilson should be able to thrive against the Raiders’ defense. He will have time to dissect their secondary to guide his team to the victory, back them at odds of 1.73Bet €100 to win €17373/100Bet £100 to win £173-137Bet $100 to win $1730.73Bet HK$100 to win HK$173-1.37Bet Rp100 to win Rp1730.7300Bet RM100 to win RM173  with BetOnline on a single bet.

Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee Titans

These two sides are an enigma. The Titans produced a quality performance to defeat the Eagles in overtime in week four, only to suffer a poor loss on the road at the hands of the Buffalo Bills last time out. Marcus Mariota and his offense failed to score a touchdown, while the quarterback passed for only 129 yards against arguable the worst roster in the NFL. Mariota has been up-and-down throughout his career and this latest setback could come to haunt the Titans in their bid to reach the post-season once again. They have the opportunity to put it right on home soil against the Ravens.

Baltimore had a poor loss themselves last week against the Cleveland Browns. Joe Flacco and his offense had ample opportunities to take the game away from their rival. However, he failed to do so, displaying his own inconsistencies. The defense also failed in the clutch to contain Baker Mayfield and Duke Johnson, allowing Cleveland to snatch the win. Both teams will be out for an improvement, but considering that the Titans are at home and have played well there, take them to win the game at odds of 2.25Bet €100 to win €2255/4Bet £100 to win £225+125Bet $100 to win $2251.25Bet HK$100 to win HK$2251.25Bet Rp100 to win Rp225-0.8000Bet RM100 to win RM225  with TopBet.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons

The Buccaneers come into the contest fresh off their bye week, with Jameis Winston leading the team. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a lightning start to the campaign, but one bad outing has seem to convince head coach Dirk Koetter that he’s not the man to move the team forward. Tampa Bay were taken apart by the Chicago Bears in their last outing. Mitchell Trubisky threw six touchdowns – a record for the Bears in the contest. Buccaneers defensive coordinator Mike Smith has come under fire due to his unit’s struggles. Smith will be facing his former team and unless he has been able to conjure magic during the bye, he will be under pressure once again.

Atlanta’s injury problems were exposed by the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Without Keanu Neal, Deion Jones and Ricardo Allen, the Falcons’ defense, especially their secondary is a huge weakness. Matt Ryan has been able to mask some of the flaws, although the record remains 1-4, setting up a hug contest against the Buccaneers in the NFC South. A loss would surely put them out contention for a playoff place. Back Ryan to turn the tables on Tampa Bay by carving up their defense with Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley at odds of 1.65Bet €100 to win €16513/20Bet £100 to win £165-154Bet $100 to win $1650.65Bet HK$100 to win HK$165-1.54Bet Rp100 to win Rp1650.6500Bet RM100 to win RM165  with TopBet.

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Redskins

The Panthers were able to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat against the Giants courtesy of Graham Gano’s 63-yard field goal. Carolina improved their record on the season to 3-1 as their offense fired for the second game on the bounce. Cam Newton and company managed to put 30 points on the board before Gano worked his magic. Carolina are producing solid complementary football even without a few key players on both sides of the ball. Newton had an up-and-down performance against the Giants, but has been solid in the opening four matches. Christian McCaffrey has produced in the ground game, delivering on his potential. The defense had a bad outing against New York, but they have the quality to bounce back against Washington.

Jay Gruden’s men were torn apart with ease by Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The contest was not competitive as the secondary were cut open, allowing the Saints quarterback to break the all-time NFL passing yardage record. Alex Smith has been decent, but the talent around the Redskins quarterback is not sufficient to cope with the talent of the Carolina defense. Unless Washington stages a massive improvement they’ll drop to another defeat. Back the Panthers to emerge with the win on the road at odds of 2.00Bet €100 to win €2001/1Bet £100 to win £200+100Bet $100 to win $2001.00Bet HK$100 to win HK$2001.00Bet Rp100 to win Rp2001.0000Bet RM100 to win RM200  with BetOnline.

Indianapolis Colts @ New York Jets

The Jets were inspired in their ground game last week as Isaiah Crowell rushed for 219 yards on the ground to defeat the Denver Broncos. Sam Darnold held up his end of the bargain throwing three touchdowns, including two to Robby Anderson downfield. Leonard Williams was outstanding on defense, notching two sacks of Case Keenum, dominating the middle of the line. Todd Bowles’ men played extremely well, proving that their win over the Detroit Lions in their opener was not a fluke. Their issue has been consistency and whether they’re able to maintain their standards against the Colts.

Indianapolis are ailing throughout their roster. They completed their clash against the New England Patriots with fewer than 40 healthy players. However, the Colts still put forward a strong effort to remain in the game until the fourth quarter. Andrew Luck threw three touchdowns to give the strongest indication yet that he’s back to best after missing last season with a shoulder injury. When Indianapolis reached the playoffs with Luck as their quarterback, he overcame huge holes on their roster to deliver wins almost singlehanded. Back him to do so again on the road against the Jets at odds of 2.25Bet €100 to win €2255/4Bet £100 to win £225+125Bet $100 to win $2251.25Bet HK$100 to win HK$2251.25Bet Rp100 to win Rp225-0.8000Bet RM100 to win RM225  with TopBet.
